waiting for the world to explode, impatiantly. been getting so low, been creeping around. adding fuel to the fire. i wish your words would inspire. feeling so anxious, though there's nothing coming. i bet you don't think, that things will get better, don't you go down so soon. you gave it another chance, you're not the one to blame. i bet you dont think, that this can get better, dont you go down so soon. you asked for another chance, you feel the one to blame. how does it feel, to know you've got no control?
Track Name: If I Were To Say
if i were to say the things i mean, i think that i would scare myself more. the worlds gone to shit and everyone knows it. just keep to yourself. complain enough to drive any man crazy. are we fucking going crazy? it seems so wrong, and yet too easy. how they make it so hard, so hard on themselves. who doesn't love attention, but i'm not keeping count. it's not about the things you have, but who you share them with. will you share this with me?

moving forward, i suddenly freeze. distract myself for a moment, but only temporarily. too dark to see outlines, but bright enough to see i'm not lost. pavement cracks and narrow gaps. everyone seems unsure. minutes pass like hours. how will you face the day? just disregard their feelings. it always goes your way without thought or consequence. never thinking twice or having regrets. too dark to see outlines of faces in the clouds, and you're just the same as the last one.

the time tolls late, while liars and cheats still lie awake. is there scratching at my door? moments linger like hourglass, time seems to overlap. that never happened that's not what i said. the constance of the drum, feed it with your coals. never concerned, but always worried. don't tell me that i'm wrong. moments fade like memories, but i keep moving on. fight the fire with your flames. always manage to extinguish nothing. it burns a hole right through my pocket, right to their hearts. we're all commercial. bleed your story to my ears. heavy eyes, they weigh heavy on my mind. looking forward, looking back. they feel one hundred pounds in my skull.

tidal waves destroy, rip through the haul. tear down the sails. this storm is getting worse. we will be consumed and swallowed. you and me, we're lost at sea. send out a search party though no one will celebrate. i swear we've never been so close, while our lungs fill with water. i swear i've never been so wrong, broken down and altered. though we'll drown, our souls will find a way out. sink to the bottom and never ascend. never breathing. these unsteady hands couldn't steer through the storm. we did our best to brave these waters. our hearts will slowly sink away.
